Firstly,the heart recieves blood from the superior and the inferior vena cava.The superior vena cava brings into the heart, blood from the upper part of the body while the inferior brings the blood from the lower part of the body.

The blood then moves into the right atrium where the right ventricle relaxes to receive the blood from the atrium through the tricuspid valve.The blood then moves from the right ventricle into the pulmonary artery through the pulmonary semilunar valve.
When the blood gets to the pulmonary artery,it moves into the lungs where it’s been oxygenated.This is called pulmonary circulation.
The blood then moves from the lungs and returns to the heart through the pulmonary veins.it continues its journey into the left atrium where its been pushed into the left ventricle through the bicuspid valve.
It then moves through the aortic semilunar valve into the aorta.The aorta then distributes the blood to all the parts of the body.
The blood then comes back to the heart through the superior and the inferior vena cava and the process restar
